The Department of Lawsuits and Financial demands is delegated to prepare the defense to be presented in court based on correspondence and documents provided by authorized departments in the university that is required for lawsuits and legal dispute which Kuwait University is part of in coordination with Legal Advice and Legislation Council – Councils of Ministers.

Furthermore, the department oversees and enforces debt demands procedures that are due or overdue in behalf of Kuwait University.
